Bookkeeping Migration Terms

1. What the service is

Bookkeeping Migration is a one-time, done-for-you project to help move selected business data between supported platforms (for example QuickBooks Online and Wave). Scope is defined by the package you purchase, the direction you request, and the notes/date range you provide.

Typical in-scope items (unless we agree otherwise in writing):

• Active or selected customers
• Products/services needed for migrated invoices
• Invoices for an agreed date range (and related payment status where tools allow)
• Optional estimates if requested and technically supported

2. What is not included (unless written)

• Full chart of accounts rebuild, bank reconciliation history, payroll, inventory valuation, or multi-entity consolidations
• Tax filings, sales-tax setup correctness, or CPA review of your books
• Cleaning years of bad source data, duplicate merges beyond reasonable effort, or re-training your staff
• Guarantees that third-party APIs (Intuit, Wave, Whop) will remain available or unchanged
• Ongoing monthly bookkeeping after the one-time project is completed

3. Your responsibilities

• Authority. You represent that you are authorized to connect accounts and migrate data for the business named in the request.
• Access. You provide working credentials, OAuth access, tokens, or admin rights we need — and revoke them when the job ends if you prefer.
• Backups. You are responsible for exporting/backing up source data before we write to the destination system.
• Accuracy. You review dry-run previews and final results. You must check customer lists, invoice totals, balances, taxes, and payment status.
• Corrections. You accept that imperfect source data (duplicates, missing customers, bad line items) may produce imperfect results.
• Compliance. You remain responsible for tax, licensing, customer contracts, and accounting policies applicable to your business.

4. Pricing, packages & estimates

• Prices are based on volume tiers (invoices and customers) and subscriber vs standalone rates, as shown on the site and in-app estimate.
• Whop sells fixed packages (Starter / Standard / Growth / Custom deposit). The estimate maps you to a package; package price may round up within a band.
• Estimates from self-reported or preliminary counts are not final. Final volume may be confirmed with a dry-run. If counts are materially higher, we may pause and require an upgraded package or custom quote before continuing.
• Payments are processed by Whop (or another method we agree in writing). Refunds follow Whop’s policies and applicable law, subject to work already performed.
• Custom / deposit purchases hold a place for larger jobs; remaining fees may be due before completion.

5. Process & acceptance

1. You purchase a package and submit a migration request (direction, notes, approximate counts).
2. We may run a dry-run or preview and confirm scope.
3. We perform the migration into systems you authorize.
4. You review results within a reasonable period (target: seven (7) days after we notify you of completion).
5. Unless you report a material defect in writing within that period, the work is deemed accepted.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to fix our clear technical errors (for example, double-imported subtotal lines caused by our tooling) reported promptly. We are not obligated to re-do work free of charge for source-data problems or scope you expanded after purchase.

6. No professional advice

Migration assistance is a technical/data transfer service. It is not certified public accounting, bookkeeping-of-record, tax preparation, legal advice, or an audit. You should have your CPA or bookkeeper review destination books if you rely on them for taxes or financing.

7. Third-party platforms

QuickBooks, Wave, Whop, and other brands are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit, Wave Financial, or Whop unless stated in writing. Outages, API limits, token expiration, rate limits, or policy changes by third parties may delay or limit migration. Those risks are outside our control.

8. Data & confidentiality

• We access business data only as needed to perform the migration and support related requests.
• See our Privacy Policy for general handling of personal and account data.
• You should not send us unnecessary sensitive data (full card numbers, SSNs, payroll bank passwords) unless required and agreed.

9. No warranties

THE MIGRATION SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT EVERY RECORD WILL TRANSFER PERFECTLY, THAT BALANCES WILL MATCH YOUR EXPECTATIONS IN ALL CASES, OR THAT DESTINATION SOFTWARE WILL DISPLAY DATA IDENTICALLY TO THE SOURCE.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STEWARD OF THE KING LLC and its operators are not liable for: lost profits or revenue; tax penalties or interest; customer disputes; duplicate or missing records caused by source data or third-party APIs; downtime; or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the migration.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of a Bookkeeping Migration shall not exceed the fees you paid us for that specific migration package (excluding app subscriptions and unrelated products), to the extent such limit is enforceable.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify STEWARD OF THE KING LLC against claims arising from: your lack of authority to migrate data; inaccurate instructions; content of your customer invoices; tax or regulatory consequences of your books; or misuse of credentials you provide.

12. Changes

We may update these Migration Terms by posting a new version with a revised date. Material changes apply to purchases and requests made after the update.
